The whole experience was really really nice from start to finish, recommend. The breakfast was lovely, good choice of excellent food. The staff was friendly and the host too. The location was exceptionally nice, near Our Lady Ter Hoyen Beguinage. And the area was central, so close to everything: about the town and parking, direct trains to antwerp, and most attractions in Ghent.

This single room at B&B Het Rommelwater is simply adorable, with its own private entrance and a cozy seating area. It feels like a perfect little hideaway. The room overlooks the beautiful garden, adding a touch of tranquility to your stay. Trust me, waking up to that view is pure bliss. The studio option is great too, with a nice living area and a cozy sleeping corner. It's like having your own little apartment. I loved that guests can use a refrigerator and a microwave/oven, making it convenient for quick meals or late-night snacks. The bathroom in each unit is clean and comes with a refreshing shower. Perfect for unwinding after a long day of exploring. This particular single room is located at the back of the house, offering extra privacy and peace.
Personally, I wasn't a big fan of the private bathroom outside the room. It's just my preference, though, as I know some people don't mind it at all.

The location of the hotel is very convenient, just a short walk from the city center and the train station. The bedroom was spacious and clean, providing a comfortable and pleasant stay. Additionally, the breakfast was a nice touch, with a variety of options delivered directly to the room.
There were a few aspects that were not as enjoyable. The building had a slight smell of smoke and old stuff, which was a bit off-putting.
