Excellent food selection. Pretty friendly and very very helpful staff. - Incredible location close to the center, the Gent-Dampoort train station, and direct trains to Antwerp, and connecting trains to Brussels airport.

The whole experience was really really nice from start to finish, recommend. The breakfast was lovely, good choice of excellent food. The staff was friendly and the host too. The location was exceptionally nice, near Our Lady Ter Hoyen Beguinage. And the area was central, so close to everything: about the town and parking, direct trains to antwerp, and most attractions in Ghent.

This single room at B&B Het Rommelwater is simply adorable, with its own private entrance and a cozy seating area. It feels like a perfect little hideaway. The room overlooks the beautiful garden, adding a touch of tranquility to your stay. Trust me, waking up to that view is pure bliss. The studio option is great too, with a nice living area and a cozy sleeping corner. It's like having your own little apartment. I loved that guests can use a refrigerator and a microwave/oven, making it convenient for quick meals or late-night snacks. The bathroom in each unit is clean and comes with a refreshing shower. Perfect for unwinding after a long day of exploring. This particular single room is located at the back of the house, offering extra privacy and peace.

Personally, I wasn't a big fan of the private bathroom outside the room. It's just my preference, though, as I know some people don't mind it at all.

The B&B is conveniently located in a quiet neighborhood, near Gent Dampoort train station, making it easy to explore the city. It is also close enough to the city center, with the historical section of town just a 15 to 20-minute walk away. the rooms are spacious and clean, with a kitchen and a lovely sitting area available. Guests have their own bathroom on the same floor, ensuring privacy. the friendly hostess provides excellent directions and is ready to help with any inquiries.

The Wi-Fi connection can be slow at times.

The location of the hotel is very convenient, just a short walk from the city center and the train station. The bedroom was spacious and clean, providing a comfortable and pleasant stay. Additionally, the breakfast was a nice touch, with a variety of options delivered directly to the room.

There were a few aspects that were not as enjoyable. The building had a slight smell of smoke and old stuff, which was a bit off-putting.

our second stay in Ghent and B&B Het Rommelwater completely exceeded our expectations. From the personal touches to the cozy atmosphere, we felt right at home. The breakfast in a basket was a delightful surprise, and the location near the train station and city center made exploring a breeze. Highly recommended!

We had a fantastic stay at this charming B&B. The location was great, just a short walk from the train station and the city center. The hosts were welcoming and friendly, making us feel right at home. Our room was clean and cozy, with all the amenities we needed. We especially loved the thoughtful touches like the electric kettle and complimentary tea and coffee. Despite some minor drawbacks like the creaky floors, we would definitely recommend B&B Het Rommelwater for a pleasant stay in Ghent.
